My new series launches in January!

In January my new mystery series, featuring retired rock 'n roller Adam Parrall and his singer wife Shawna, debuts with the first title, You've Lost That Livin' Feeling.

Why did I start a new series? I love writing about Rick Chasen in my Walk Through England series, but I sometimes like to go to a completely different setting and situation. (Plus, I love rock and roll!)

Adam and Shawna live in the small community of Cordoba on the mid-California coast,

an idyllic place that, surprisingly (or not), gets its share of murders. Adam runs a small vinyl record store and Shawna sells real estate, which gives them lots of opportunity to get to know the townspeople, including Police Chief Teri Cortez and her deputy Matt (who is also Adam's nephew).

Just a warning: this new series is very different from my first series, but, like that series, it features a resourceful leading man and takes place in a beautiful part of the world. I hope you give it a try!
